Last fall, the Empowering UF project team reached out to departments and colleges to identify the secondary systems in use across the university that augment human resources, payroll and finance operations. Secondary systems are independently owned and operated at the college/department level — outside myUFL/PeopleSoft or other enterprise systems.
We are currently partnering with secondary system owners to compare features from Workday to secondary systems. Monthly forums begin in January 2026 where the project team will share updates on how to change secondary systems so they continue to function after Workday goes live in July 2027.
