Outreach

Connecting across the university

UF faculty and staff continue to contribute to each phase of the Empowering UF project. Leaders and subject-matter experts representing all UF’s colleges, administrative units and component units have shared their thoughts and recommendations about our university’s finance, research, human resources, payroll and administrative systems and processes. Representatives have been participating in Empowering UF work groups and advisory teams to help guide UF’s Workday design and implementation. Many faculty and staff across UF attended 2026 Spring Outreach Sessions, a series of presentations customized for dozens of colleges and units, to hear Empowering UF leaders share the new platform’s tools and business processes. In September, our faculty and staff can expect to receive personalized communication via email with an early learning checklist to help them prepare for Workday training next spring. Stay tuned for invitations to additional outreach events as we inform and engage our future Workday users. Tree graph to show all areas Empowering UF have presented to

Outreach Sessions

In an ongoing effort to inform and engage faculty and staff, Empowering UF leaders have presented at more than 100 meetings and outreach sessions. From the UF Board of Trustees, Faculty Senate, and Gator Business Administrator Services meetings to roundtables, roadshows and forums, we are sharing the project’s vision, scope, goals and milestones.
