All faculty and staff are invited to attend an in-person Empowering UF Expo on Oct. 19 or 22 — your introduction to the Workday platform replacing myUFL (PeopleSoft) next summer.
Workday will power our daily HR, financial and post-award grant management activities, and these expos are your chance to get ahead! Connect with our Empowering UF experts to see how Workday’s modern system will transform the way we work.

You’re welcome to attend either date and location convenient to you, just show up! From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Empowering UF experts will staff information tables to share details and answer your questions. Our team has reserved parking for the UF/IFAS Extension Professional Development Center (65 spots) and for the O’Connell Center (135 spots). Parking is first come, first served. There will be attendants on-site to confirm you are attending one of the Empowering UF Expo events.
If you’d like to attend an information session, please register in advance because space is limited. These are optional and the schedule of sessions will be the same on both days and will be facilitated by our Empowering UF project experts. (Please register below.)

Introducing Workday
Welcome to Workday! This introductory session showcases the Workday look and feel.
How Will I Enter Time Worked & Time Off?
This session will cover both time entry and time off requests in Workday. Get a sneak peek at the Absence Calendar and Time and Scheduling Hub for managers.
Benefits & Payroll Hub Demo
Participants will get a preview of Workday’s Benefits & Pay Hub, a centralized dashboard that will enable UF workers to manage their pay, benefits and compensation in one place.
Travel & Expense
Participants will receive a high-level overview of the travel and expense process in Workday, including travel authorizations and using Expense Reports to request reimbursements and reconcile Travel Card expenses.
How Will I Shop?
In this session, participants will learn how purchasing works in Workday, from reconciling Procurement Card purchases to requesting and receiving goods and services, and how you participate in invoice processing.
Introducing myPortfolio in Workday!
Discover how myPortfolio can help faculty better understand and manage their funding information. In this session, the team will walk faculty and faculty support staff through the dashboard’s features, functionality and key reporting capabilities.
Reporting in Workday
Learn about UF’s holistic reporting strategy and our Workday First approach to analytics. Participants will get a preview of the reporting catalog and see a live demonstration of Workday reporting, illustrating how report prompts and drilldowns allow users to quickly find the data they need and navigate Workday’s interconnected objects.
