Overview

Introducing a modern, intelligent and unified UF

Empowering UF began in 2024 as a multi-year implementation plan to launch Workday at the University of Florida. In July 2027, Workday will replace the majority of UF’s enterprise resource planning, or ERP, solutions, including PeopleSoft and other platforms, with a few exceptions. Several current business systems will remain in programs that will become integrated into Workday. The current student information system, or SIS, will also remain in place for the time being. Otherwise, Workday solutions will be built to accommodate UF’s needs. Here’s a top-level overview of Empowering UF.

Vision

Empowering UF will build modern, intelligent and unified business processes and systems that empower the UF community. With the OneUF vision in mind, three factors will be critical to our success: a thorough re-envisioning of our business processes, optimized data to facilitate reporting capabilities, and support for faculty and staff throughout the change and beyond.

OneUF Critical Success Factors are change management, business process engineering, and reporting and data.
