Meet Karla Shelnutt, Ph.D., R.D., Associate Dean for Extension Engagement, Dean for Extension Office, IFAS
Dr. Shelnutt attended an Empowering UF Spring Outreach Session with the IFAS Extension faculty and staff, where she learned how UF is carefully planning for our transition to Workday next summer.
Please tell us about your experience hearing about UF’s planning for the modernization of our technology platform.
The Empowering UF Project Team did an amazing job introducing our IFAS Extension faculty to some of the Workday features. They were engaging, informative, and entertaining. They made learning about Workday fun! They shared some of the features that will make our work easier and reassured everyone that this will be a smooth transition. They offered to answer questions as needed, and I for one will be very comfortable reaching out once I start learning more. I’m so thankful that they took time out of their busy schedules to spend some time with us at the IFAS Extension Summit and look forward to working with this team through the rollout.
